レアグルーヴを軸に、国や年代をまたいだ幅広いレコードが並びます。棚は頻繁に入れ替わります。Rare groove at the core, with records spanning countries and eras. The shelves change often.

BAR

五席のカウンターでは、飲むことと、盤を掘ることの境目がありません。フードはありませんが、食べ物の持ち込みはOK。At the five-seat counter, drinking and digging blur into one. No food menu, but you're welcome to bring your own.

NEW YORK Weekend Records ニューヨークで Weekend Records を運営。Ran Weekend Records in New York.
SHIMOKITAZAWA Hiyoko Records 帰国後、下北沢でひよこレコードを開く。Back in Tokyo, opened Hiyoko Records in Shimokitazawa.
2017 Upstairs Records & Bar レコード店と五席のバーを、2階のひと部屋に。A record shop and a five-seat bar, together in one upstairs room.

神戸でレコードバーの文化に触れ、ニューヨークでは Weekend Records を運営。帰国後は下北沢でひよこレコードを開き、2017年に現在の Upstairs Records & Bar を始めました。棚には、その道のりで出会った音がそのまま並んでいます。From record-bar culture in Kobe to running Weekend Records in New York, then Hiyoko Records back in Shimokitazawa, and in 2017, Upstairs Records & Bar. The shelves hold the music gathered along that path.

THE ROOM SOUNDS DIFFERENT

五席の小さな空間を満たす、まろやかで奥行きのあるサウンド。レコードを単に試聴するのではなく、飲みながら音に浸るための部屋です。A mellow, deep sound fills the five-seat room. Not a place to sample records, but a room to sink into the sound over a drink.

階段を上がるUp the stairs

下北沢一番街のビル2階。階段の先に、小さなレコード店とバーがあります。Second floor of a building on Shimokitazawa Ichibangai. Up the stairs, a small record shop and bar.

五席のカウンターへTake a seat at the counter

チャージは500円、ドリンクは700円から。まずは一杯飲みながら音を楽しめます。Charge ¥500, drinks from ¥700. Start with a drink and let the music play.

音を聴き、棚を見るListen, and look through the shelves

気になる曲や一枚があれば、店主に尋ねてみてください。店内で流れている盤も、基本的には購入できます。If a track or record catches you, ask the owner. Many of the records playing are also available to buy.
